Becky G has put her own colourful stamp on a limited-edition PATRÓN bottle to help support families in Jalisco, Mexico.
The 29-year-old singer designed the blue-and-green bottle and matching scarf as part of the brand’s Our Rainwater Project, which will fund 200 rainwater harvesting systems for local households. The collaboration is particularly personal for Becky, as all four of her grandparents came from Jalisco, where PATRÓN is also produced.
She said many families still have to carry, store and ration water, adding that she was proud to use her platform to draw attention to the issue. Only 350 of Becky’s custom-designed bottles will be released, alongside a short documentary showing how the new water systems can help communities across the region.
